Electric Choke ?

I have a holley 4160 with electric choke. now that it is getting cold I think it needs adjusting. When I fire it up it is good to go, idles around 1000 at my first stop light good still idling around 900 second stop light about a mile out idling normally at 700 but really rough next stop about two miles idle smooth at 700. Is my choke just kicking out to soon? And to adjust it to more choke do I loosen the three bolts and turn it right or toward the front of truck?
