tinting windows

About how much would you guess to tint back and side windows from a pro. tint place? Anyone who has tint how does it hold up on our old style windows?

Well, unless you know a friend that will tint it for you, you're gonna get ripped off A industrial roll of tint costs like 50 bucks, maybe more, and most places charge more than that for 1 job. I suggest going to wally world or auto zone and buying enough tint (shouldn't nee more than two $10 rolls) and getting a pro to do it themselves for their fee. My cousin is doing mine for 20 bucks but i gotta buy tint, and, he's my cousin....
That's just my .02 worth

There is a reason the professional tint costs more. I dont know how many tint jobs I have seen that dont look very well at all with the cheaper tint. Its usually bubbled up, peeling off, changing colors and all kinds of things. There is usually a warranty with the pro tint jobs against fading and workmanship.

The window has to be very very clean. It also helps if there isn't a lot of scratches and nicks in the window also. On the price I would think 85.00 but that's just an estaminet the price can vary depending where its at.

my local shops charge in the hundred dollar range. Just make sure that what tint you get is within legal limits. My son had his car done and then had to take it off on the front doors cause he got a ticket turns out the shop lied

yeah i agree with roldon, don't try and be slick and go to dark, they will make you rip it off in a hearbeat. The legal limit should be dark enough. If not, then ride in a limo

3M tint used to be one of the best to use. I haven't tinted windows in probably 15 years. From what I remember it made a big difference what kind of tint you used.

Well, wallyworld and K mart sell differeent degrees of quality, something like good, better, and best (actual names) and each degree costs more.
