63-66 For Sale?
I have a friend looking for a 1963-1966 shortbed truck. He prefers a fleetside, but a stepside is ok. It has to run and drive and the nicer the better. He has up to $4000 to $5000 to spend for the right truck, the more original/stock the better. He lives in Seattle,WA but will travel just about anywhere in the Pacific NW and BC, Canada to look and buy. Anybody out there have one for sale? Let me know. Thanks.

I have a line on a nice 66 shortbed with 283 and stick on the floor. It is currently on Camp Pendleton down by San Diego, California. The truck is from Texas and has been in a family since 1971, it needs a new master cylinder for the brakes and a few odds and ends. It is all in primer but the body is super solid. I just got back from taking a look at it, figure I might buy it to put up for sale here. The guy wants $2,000 for it, if interested give me a yell.

San Diego is to far to travel to buy or look at a truck. If it was in the Pacific NW/Washington State, he would definitely look at it, it is exactly what he wants. Thanks for the e-mail.

I've got a 1965 GMC short fleet but I'm not done putting it together yet. It's not going to be stock though. For starters it's got a 402 BBC and Turbo 400 in it along with a 72 disc brake setup in the front. I'll keep him in mind when it's atleast driveable. If things go well it should be in one piece by the end of summer. In one piece, minus paint, it'll be in his price range
