Header question?
Has anyone used Flowtech headers? Are these poor quality headers or not? The reason I'am asking is I have bought a set of Flowtech ceramic coated headers for $150 bucks cdn(which have never been used) but not sure if I should use them or not.
Thanks Rob |

Russell; I'am from Moncton New Brunswick.
The reason I'am asking is the guy at the local speed shop said the bends on the on the Flowtechs are not as good as the Hedmans ceramic coated(which are 500+ dollars), but then again there are not a lot of tight bends on the headers for these trucks. Rob |

I have Flowtech on my truck , fit good and seem to work good. The only problem I have had has been the collectors rusting out on the uncoated ones after several years. But for the price I can't complain.

true, the bends in them are not as good as a Heddman or Hooker header, but for a mild small block, they're more than adequate. for a race engine, i would step up to a higher quality header as the bends are better, and the primary tubes are bigger (only 1 1/2" on the Flowtechs)
