Pics of Lowered Trucks using the Blazer Poly or Steel tank, please.
I am tying to decide if I can use a Poly or Steel 21 gallon tank form GMC Pauls or should I purchase a smaller 16 gallon tank from FuelCellGuy. If I were to go the 21 gallon Blazer tank route...Do I want Poly or Steel??? I know the FCG tank is awesome, a good price, and is made sweet by a member but I really want a bigger tank. Love to see any pics someone might have, just to see how low the Blazer tank sits on a lowered 2wd truck. My truck is dropped 4.5" in the front and 4" in the back. Thoughts, comments? Thanks Guys and Happy ThanksGiving!!!

You can always ask FCG to make it bigger or deeper. Thats what I did. IMO, this is the best route to go. Make it the way you want it.

Don't the guys that have lowered 2wd K5's use the same 21gal tank the truck came with or are they going with a smaller tank?

hang too low!
I just went out and measured mine. I have 6" ECE drop springs and it's 6.5" from the ground. Sorry no pic. It's fine for normal driving. Load it up with 4 adults,... how low would it be? If you'd go lower,... or bag it,... I would want something different. I would still like to have a Fuelcellguy tank. Just looks too low hanging below the bumper.

FCG knows his stuff. I bought a aluminum tank off a board member and asked fcg a question about the dimensions and he had the correct answer to me by the end of the day. The tank i bought doesnt look to fit as well as the ones fcg makes and when its time to put the new engine in my truck FCG will get my business for sure.
