Im wishing only to sell the Truck as a whole vehicle; parting it out is not of my interests...

Please Pardon my interior's mess...
7-18-2004.
Got further along toady. The firewall is basically stripped from the chassis. I disassembled most of the Interior and left what you see to clean up and the small stuff for next weekend. I think it's almost time to build the cab dolly. I took a look at a few of the pic images posted here in another board post on different appraoaches as to feasability and I have decided to make one similar to one listed by another member. I will make one that allows me to to keep it at a height relative to the current frame's height. I felt that that was a good decision that will allow me to rolll it forward to the Longhorn so it will eliminate most lifting issues. I will also next look into purchasing the rocker panels and such necessary for the fixes to be performed. These images will be posted as we go along here. Ill get back with more next weekend...

Almost there...
Here's the dash area...almost stripped! Just the wiring and remove carpet. I will leave the doors on it for now as I have it outdoors. All that is left is the doors, front/rear window, headliner, gas lines, and I think that's it!
What's up next will be the frame dolly for the cab, order the GoodMark repair parts, and go at it. I will also need to blast the underbody of the cab; lots of road goo and such. This will help with the new metal parts! I will get back in about a week or so...Wish us Luck!

Parking Brake cable removal
I had to actually use my brain and recall an olde Camaro discussion on removing these. In order to safely and to save the brake cable without destroying when being removed, use a Hose Clamp from a 1/2" hose line. Secure to a pointe about 1/16" back from the frame so once collapsed, you can pull the cable past the frame to remove it completely. Took me 20 seconds and VOILA! it was out easily...

Cab work Project...
Sorry , I got stuck on my daily driver but I am getting ready to do all this very very soon. I am also in the process of getting all the engine parts...I am assembling a 4.250 stroker crank for 500" for the motor, and will probably store the original #'s 402 in the corner of the garage for safe keeping! I bought some NOS rocker panels for the cab, and I am still seeking the other cab supports and such that typically rust, so we can do the cab all at once!
The cab, being with it's size presents a challenge to do effeciently! I am also looking into the bed wood as it is longer! Other than that, paint supplies, , and small things, I am ready to go once the cab is primed! See you all sooon!
