70 gmc body 74 frame?????

how much trouble will it be to do? i have a cracked frame on my 70 and have come across a 74 frame. what are the pros and cons to it? i was thinking about doing a frame swap to 5 lug disc front brakes power brakes from 6 lug drums none power. the frame im lookin at is straight and clean. thanks in advanced for the advice yall..............mark

there was a thread not too long ago that talked about this very thing. if you do a search you should be able to find it. i think that the conclusion was you could with a body lift, so 4wd yes, but not a 2wd (a body lift would look dumb on a 2wd IMHO)
