Wiring help
I'm putting in that keyless entry system, where i'm putting the box for the system doesn't let the wiring harness reach. I was going to get some wire, but the wire has some sort of metric measurements. I don't know much about the guage numbers, but on the wires have 0.5mm^2 (millimeters squared) and one the hot wire it has 0.75mm^2. How can I figure out what this is in a guage measurement. Also, if I have to use a bigger wire than what comes with the kit will that hurt anything?

I don't see anything at all wrong with running bigger wire. You should have no problems at all with doing that. As far as the wire sizing, go here:

Agreed, anthough, you could go too big and increase the resistance.
Just buy some thicker whire, as long as it isn't a huge battery cable or something...you'll be ok. |

A great tool for me as I need to go the other way. All my truck manuals have wire sizes in AWG and living in the UK means that I have to buy wires in metric... blooming marvelous!
