Question adding power brakes to inline?

Did the inlines come out with power brakes? If so where did they get there vaccum? Was there a single barrel carb big enough for vaccum without killing power? any pics of booster to carb setups?

see the fitting on the manifold directly beneath the carb?

Also note the wierd air cleaner, you will either need to find one like that(good luck) or run a little tiny air cleaner.

Moodybo, don't mean to hijack your thread, but i was wondering, GeeEem, i don't see a fan shroud on yours, and my 70 doens't have one either. Did they not come with one on 6 cyl?

I6's with autos had a shroud similar to a small block version, manuals have what you see in GM's pics.

Here is my six with PS and PB.

Fan shroud & PB

Fan shroud: If you ever change radiators, go to a v8 and just move your mounts out to those holes. This lets you run the v8 fan shroud, bolt in. They were offered on some HD cooling sys options that way from GM.

Here is the complete PB air cleaner with all of the hardware incl heat riser tube---and it is FOR SALE---
