My 69 cst/10 sb has 550,000 miles on it. 2nd tranny th350,3rd motor 355 vortec heads and still has the stock rear 3.73 posi in it and is just starting to sing the gear whine.But thats all that has been done to it in the last 15 years of daily driving 55 miles one way everyday.

My '72 4x4 required a new motor, front end work, tranny work and other upgrades like a second battery for winch power leads (spread the work out over 6 years). Lotsa work. My '98 Dodge ram 4x4, aside from a 2" suspension lift and u-joint replacements, has'nt needed the TLC the chev had to have. Which do I prefer to drive? the chev hands down anytime, quirks and all.
