turbo mufflers vs. glasspacks

I'm putting dual exhaust on my truck in the upcoming weeks, what kind of muffler sounds best: glasspacks or turbos? I had a pair of Flowmasters on my Camaro and they sounded good, but I want a bit louder for the truck.

Glasspacks will be louder, especially if you put them on backwards. You may get some hassle from your local law enforcement though. Loud mufflers aren't in style like they used to be.

Glass packs with 18" resonator tips give you the best of both worlds - low rumble when driving around town and the attention grabbing cackle when you mash it to the floor.

I've got turbos, and I'm pretty impressed with them. Now, I've got stock heads with stock manifolds, and am planning on going with headers later, but I'm running 2 1/2" all the way to the end. I'm running straight pipes too, which sounds cool in the back, but I don't get to enjoy the noise. I'm constantly setting off car alarms, which is funny as hell.
