heater core

Does any body know which hose should be on top when I reinstall core the smaller or the larger on e? Mine has never had one so I'm not sure. Does it matter?

5/8 on the bottom, 3/4 on the top. and yes it does matter somewhat. You should have a quieter heater core since it wouldn't trap any air.
