WTB: posi for 72 w/3.73
I currently have a non posi with 3.08 gears. I have bought some 3.73 gears and want to go to a posi when installing them. From what I can determine I need a series 4 (correct?) posi unit.
The truck is a 72 LWB 1/2 ton with a 12 bolt rear. Haven't opened it up to check the spline count but it should be stock (30?). |

I good source for these are 71-79 chevyvans just look under the hood for ratio and posi option. More of those are in yards than the 67-72's Alot had posi too. They used 12 bolts up to79
