HELP! Rear Diff Question
Hey i changed the gear oil in the rear of my truck today, because it says your supposed to change it a little while after putting an new diff. in. The one thing is, i couldnt find the instructions and i wanted to be sure that i was putting the right oil in there. I put 85W-140 Synthetic in just temporarily, because i had it laying around. Tomorrow i am going to the autoparts store and i want to get the right stuff. SO finally, my question is, does anyone know what gear oil to use with an AUBURN Limited Slip rear diff. I know there is a limited slip additive i have to get, but i dont know what weight oil to get, or should i get synthetic or not. THANKS a lot guys. phew that was a lot of typing
