Need wiper switch for later tilt column.

Does anyone know where to buy a new wiper switch.....it's a later car type tilt column that has the wiper switch on the column...without delay. I can find the ones with the delay marks just about anywhere. Greg

they are in fact still available from GM & AC Delco. I wouldnt settle for any other brand as it is kind of a pain to replace. I have done quite a few for customers. if they give you a hassle about the application tell them it is for a '92 C2500 without delay.
let me know if you need help with replacement.

Thanks, My column is around a 77 model Pontiac, but probably interchangable with many makes/years. The only problem I've had is pulling the wires in & out of the column. Greg

The switch is made inside the lever.....right. I would perfer to get the complete lever assembly. Any idea on getting out the pivot pins to tighten up the column? Greg

no, the lever pulls right off, the switch is in the column.

I think I understand now....maybe. I need the lever part, everything is OK in the column. If you have the delay switch & lever I would be interested all 3 items. Thanks, Greg

might be quicker and cheaper to just go to auto zone or what ever, in the help section. Can't cost much more than 10 bucks....probably less.

They only carry the ones with delay......about $25. Greg

Just for your info,
Snap-on sells a puller to pull the pivot pins out so you can tighten up the column. That's about the only way to get them out without destroying things. I think it's around $15, (but it's been a few years since I bought mine). I might be able to get a part # if it's marked. I think you'll also need a torx socket to tighten up the bolts that are loose.
I've probably got the lever you need too. I'll take a look tommorrow.

Correct on the torx socket. I also found a simple tool made by Lisle for pulling the pins that NAPA can order, nobody here stocks it. I managed to get the stuck pin out, using a 8/32 screw, 8/32 nut, large washer and a socket bigger than the pin. It came right out. I definitly would NOT use the dent puller again. Greg
