bed to frame question
is there any thing that goes between the cross sills and the frame of a box?. is there any rubber or other material in between the two mating parts? what is original and what does everybody do?

there isnt any rubber or anything between my box and frame, not 100% sure there shouldnt be

When you get a bed mount kit it will include a couple rubber sheet/pads to place between the bed and the frame mounts. (That's why you need the extra grounds since it is insulated between the bed and frame. Most folks have told me they didn't use them when the reassembled their trucks. Between the beed and cross rails is nothing.

We use industrial belting cut into small squares between the bed and frame. The material holds up real well and it helps eliminate bed squeeks.
