Cool K25 to K20

Started the change today, had been prepping the parts for the past 4 weeks. Pulled the "doghouse" off today. Going to get a leak in the radiator fixed tomorrow. Also need to replace the valve cover gaskets.

As you can see this motor has the long pump setup. The C30 I bought has the short pump power steering brackets but no pulleys. Going to install a 72 grill for now, but I'm getting a 70 grill from another board member and will use it, I like the parking lights in the grill not the bumper.

Jim, I get envious when I see all the work you get done on your trucks. I wish I had the time to do that to mine, but I can only spare to be on here while I am working on my homework, other than that I am at work, school, or asleep.

Did you hear anything about the center section? I still have the crate, its actually the holder for one of my center sections, as I couldnt find any more 5 gallon buckets...lol

Looking good!!! That thing looks strangely familiar also....lol

It seems that truck never could make up its mind whether it wanted to be a Chevy or a GMC.

The engine still running good?

Looks like a good time getting ready to be had

2 questions, what makes it a K25 vs K20?

And what are you going to do with the GMC radiator support you removed?

Thanks guys. Hawgs are doing good. For an extra $120 I could have gotten 38.5s. That would have been 720 vice 600 I paid. Dean the engine's running strong. Have not heard from him about the center section. Did get a set back today, the radiator could not be repaired. Oh well, I bought a new one. I'll have some pics tomorrow.
the GMC core support, for the most part is solid, though the headlight buckets are bolted on, I think it was a chevy at one time. Have not done anything with it for now.

Just waiting for the battery tray I ordered from GMC Pauls. Got my new radiator.

Having a slight problem with the body lines but getting it worked out. The right fender needs to go back in relation to the hood, but the hood is square so it's as if I need to piviot the whole cab.

Moved it today. Got my radiator in and battery. Had to buy a few parts-bought them from GMCPauls, a battery tray and radiator cushins. Dark but, on the road:

Ah, 10-4, either one would look good, don't see many 4X4's with an 8 foot step side bed.
