Heat????
HOW DO YOU PEOPLE IN THE MIDWEST GET YOUR TRUCK TO GIVE HEAT QUICKLY?? I HAVE A 86 K5 BLAZER AND LIVE IN MARYLAND. WE HAVE ONLY HAD TEMP IN THE MID 30'S SO FAR AND IT TAKE ALMOST 15-20 MINUTES BEFORE I CAN GET ANY GOOD HEAT. RUNNING A 180 THEMO.

Cardboard cut to fit in front of the radiator or you could try a engine heater.

Your T-stat might not be working properly. It might be stuck Partially open and needs changing out.

I have had nothing but bad luck on the cheaper thermostats. Try and buy the best they have when you go to the auto supply store. That is the same problem I have had on several different type of vehicles. They would last about a year and then the heater would take foreever to get warm. Replace the thermostat and it would fix the problem.
