am/fm stereo

I orderd a am/fm cassette radio a few months back and was wondering if any else had one and were you happy with it. ( I think it is the USA # 3 )They are the ones that you can put right into your dash without cutting,it has the chevy or gmc logo on them.this one has 44 watts and I put the dual 4 '' speakers under the dash and will be putting the kickpanel speakers on in a few months.Would they sound better with an amp hooked up and can you hook a amp up to one as I haven't received it yet ?

I see that alot of people don't like them. Do they have poor quality sound or do they just break easily? Is there anyone else that makes these stereos for our trucks that will just pop right in without butchering the dash?

I want to keep the truck stock looking as I am going to get collector plates on it when Iam finished. Iam not sure what speakers to use in the kickpanels as there is another thread dedicated to that subject.(fit and sound)

There radio's are terrible as far as sound and quality. I'd return it and get a good deck, JMHO.
