Need help faaaaaast!!!!!

I'm trying to remove the driver side window regulator on my 74. The problem is I can't get the wheels from the regulator free form the opening in the sash.

I have the window shifted as far forward as possible (it's hitting the tab/bracket the joins the inner/outer door) & I still need almost 1/4". I went so far as to cut an access hole to facilitate shifting the sash & regulator arm (I guess now I'll have to mount door speakers).

Any ideas or suggestions on how to get around this dilemma? I want to get this thing secured tonight & I've been messing w/it all freaking day w/o any luck.

loosen up your track ajustment bolts and your wing window should come right out for you

The wing window assembly was out several hours ago. I can't seem to get the window sash & regulator arms (wheels on the arms) to come apart.

the arms ass. pivits in the middle like a x calapse them and then slide them off in the center of the bar they slide on. There is a big cut out in the center of the bar that the wheels set in

The bar "the wheels set in" is the sash. I marked the location of the opening in the sash on my glass. I lowered the glass as far as it will go, shifted the glass as far forward to align the wheel on the arm assm. w/the opening, but it won't shift far enough forward.

Well I got it apart, but I had to force it.

Now the problem is it won't align back up to re-install it. I even got the dremel tool out to increase the length of the opening in the sash. Prying it out w/a screwdriver only works 1 way . . ..... so I can't pry it back in.
