Yukon, help.

Im trying to post a reply to your (my truck is making a noise) thread on ck5 website. I just joined today, & it says i cant post a reply . Why am i locked out. They even sent me an e-mail saying welcome to our club enjoy your stay. If you can help me out i'd appreciate it. By the way, im jealous about that noise you have. I take it you dont care about gas mileage much I really want a 502 in my truck, man that sounds good to say that. They say the first thing to do is admit you have a problem. My prob is no green backs rite now Thanks for you help in advance. Ill bet your truck can do a now

Once you sign up I think you have to follow the link through the conformation email. If that doesn't work hit the contact us link at the bottom of the page and Mr. Fox will get you hooked up.

Got a few more things to do before any gear scratching - though I can't wait.

Still need to finish the interior, bleed the brakes, install the clutch slave cylinder and bleed it and figure out my steering column install. At my slow pace that might take awhie.

For those who haven't seen the link - here is a quicktime movie of the engine breathing on it's first day since being torn apart and built up a little.

As for your question, some of the forums over at coloradok5 you can read but only reply in if you are a paying member. I think the garage forum is an open forum.

Gas mileage isn't too much of a concern, truck got about 9-10 mpg with the 307 so I'm not expecting that to change too much. Fitting the 454 has been challenging for me, though some people have little problem, not sure why.

thanks. Im considering a bb. did you have to move the xmember, or use a xmember for a different truck. Did you movethe whole drivetrain forward for better firewall clearance? I did pay on ck5 & now its all better.
