JC Whitney Delux Overhead Speaker System

Will this speaker system fit in our trucks. I have a 69 C10 and the speakers under the seat leaves a lot to be desired. Just wondering if anyone can give feedback on this JC Whitney setup?

Thanks Yaw!

I'd make my own or buy that, tear those speakers out and put new, high quality ones in.

The question was:
Will this speaker system fit in our trucks.

Not how to engineer a sound system. I'm very famaliar with speaker systems and impedance matching between the load and the driving amplifier. I'm not into the boom box craze either, I have a Custom Auto Sound radio in the truck and the wattage of the radio is more than is what should be required for such a small space in the truck. I am just looking for a way to get sound out from under the seats, as it is all muffled coming from under the seats, and the kick panels are all metal and I'm not cutting into that area nor the door panels.

Does that help?
I had one of thee type units in a truck once, they sure do throw the music in your face. You also lose the visors, and a lot of visability, which being over 6' tall was an issue with me.

i have that system in Big Blue. it sure puts the sound right in your ears.
i have it mounted across the back of the cab. Great fit, but the quality of the speakers leave a lot to be desired. i am thinking of additional speakers under the dash would help.

Thanks BIG BLUE. That is what I was looking for, to see if they would fit. If I can get to the speakers I just might be able to do something to improve the quality of that aspect of the sound. I didn't want to buy something only to find that they wouldn't fit or had a lousy fit.
