Nice, I like the blue and white one. For that price, I'll bet it was mint.

Another truck with shaved handles but with the gas cap sticking out. I don't get it.

If you noyice he also doesn't have the side marker lamps either, which means where would he hide the filler door, and keep the smooth lines of the bed.

When I get my blazer tank(soon i hope) I am gonna find a little round filler door from a newer car or truck and put that on. I hope it works. Any ideas.

I built a box inside my box and I fill gas in that. Its on the passenger side in the corner, so I drop the gate and fill it up.

More great pictures Dave. That orange one was really nice. It was a father-turned-over-to-son project. Dad had originally restored it to stock and then gave it to his son who turned it into what you see here. The body was perfectly straight. I think they said that they made the bed cover themselves. Very nice work.
The copper/brown SWB 4x4 was beautiful too. Took him 8 months from start to finish. I saw the pictures of what he started with and it was an amazing transition.

It was good to see the regular Carlisle board members again ... Sorry I missed you this year Gordo. 71402BB, Scull67, my son and I got an education in the finer points of neon and how to put it in parts of your truck you never thought possible. We also saw several demonstrations of the proper way to dispose of your excess Mardi Gras beads.

There are more low rider mini-trucks every year but the show was still great.

Anyone in driving distance should definitely put it on their must-see schedule.

I think the judges got some of those beeds prior to the show!!FIX!

Well I mannaged to miss almost every board member there except Gmc Paul, Bill from grimm's and pickupman. but I did get there late. saw that blue shy-ann looked good, talked to owner, decent dude but asking too much in my opinion. liked the way he ran his exhaust! 2 1/2" rams and tucked neatly underneath then the mufflers were on the outside of the rail and under the wheel well then extended strait out the back! looked cool.

72chevylwb, The cover was from a company in Kentucky that gave them a hard time about delivery. Took several months he said. It looked nice but the guy said it saggs when he opens it. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the pics. It was great meeting everyone at the show. I thought they only did the bead thing at mardi gras
