Were to get B.B. mounts quick, I knew the 6 was gonna go but now?

My life is life is like this, I always need something at the worst time. I was getting parts together to put the 454 in but wanted to do it in aug. but now have a bad rod knocking on heavens door. My model A is getting fixed from being rear ended from the last time the truck was down and I was using it as a parts runner. So I need something to drive in a hurry, and I have the block ready this seems to be the best way out. I know this has been answered before but I forgot the answer. I need motor bracket, mount, and frame towers any thing else?? And where can I get them fast, they need not be the best deal as I need them now. Thanks, in advance for your help, Joker69

Desert Rat, Thanks for the post. I don't need all the brackets for the motor itself, but I do need the mounts that attatch to the block. I don't see these in the photo, do you have them? Also I have read somewhere on here that there is a break in the years and the rubber mounts for one are cheaper than the other years, but that they will both work well. Any differences or ideas about this? Thanks, Joker69

What transmission are you going to use? If you are going to use a standard you will need the crossmember that goes under the bell housing. The BB crossmember is located in a different possition so it is shaped different. I don't have one, but I have had in the past. If you are installing an automatic you will be allright as far as the transmission goes, but you will need the frame bracket for the auto transmission (as they are different) and I may have one of those. i have used rubber mounts but id recommend new ones they are quite expensive they were well over $100,if on budget use truck sb motor rubber pads, and a big basher under mount.or goto 72 style.i have those. someone on here wanted said they were sending$$$ but its been a while.the tranny linkage frame bracket is different but you can certainly use sb one.if Wes dont have any,i have quite a few.

Desert Rat, The question is more about the "clamshell" that bolts to the block. I don't see these in the photo. The second part was about the cost of the rubber mounts. Thanks for the further info, Joker69.
