Quick intake bolt question plz
The intake manifold bolts surrounding the carb are leaking oil. I used permatex thread sealant and 3 of the 4 are still leaking. Leaning towards just removing cleaning and RTVing them. Any suggestions?

Are you sure it isn't the valve covers leaking? I have never had a problem with the intake bolts leaking.

Positive. Engine is very clean. Area of leak easy to spot.

I have had that problem before. I just took out the bolt and put more silicone on them and that fixed the problem. Seems to happen more on the aftermarket manifolds, at least to me.

I have had good luck stopping the leaking by using bolts with the formed washer on them. I use permatex on the threads but silicone should do well.

Use washer-headed bolts & put a little sealant under the bolt heads.

Anybody tried teflon tape? I put about 4-5 wraps just below the washer.
