I've done later model trucks, like late 70's and the consoles are the ones with the round drink holders like you mentioned. Not aftermarket at all. The earlier consoles had the square holes. I don't know which year they switched to the round cup holders though.

The consoles are pretty easy to find. I have several in my attic.
