WTB: short bed truck in CA
I am looking for a shortbed project truck in Southern California. I would like a fairly rust free 67-72 Chevrolet or GMC. I would prefer a fleet, but a step will work as well. Running would be nice, but not absolutely nessecary as long as it won't take a lot to get running. My price range is $0-3000.
I may also be interested in a 73-74 short bed (pre-smog). Let me know what you have. ![]() Thanks, Eric Last edited by WhiteLX; 12-08-2004 at 03:02 AM. |

I know of a truck in Northern California that is a 72 Chevy short bed fleetside with a/c, power steering and power brakes. It is a rust free truck from what I saw. It needs the front end suspension installed back on the truck which he has and the front sheet metal installed which I was told he also has. The truck does not have a engine or trans. It looks to be a nice truck but is being stored in a container. He is asking 3500.00 for the truck or 4000 with a good big block Chevy and automatic transmission.
