402BB pvc and ventilation hoses?
I'm putting on chrome edelbrock valve covers and an aircleaner on my 72 402BB and was wondering on the driver side . Do I run a pvc valve with a hose to the front of the carb.I'm running a 1411 edelbrock and on the passenger side do I run a ventilation hose from the valve cover to the air cleaner or just plug off the valve cover and not run a hose the the air cleaner? Thank you all. Dave

No pics but you do need to have openings in both valve covers. Engines build up internal pressure that needs to be relieved. I ran the PVC into the right valve cover and just hooked a filter to a hose and pointed it towards the rear for the other side. Not clean but it works. Bottom line is don't plug it off and put some kind of filter on it so your your not pulling dirt in.
