does anyone have a pic of a v8 motor mount next to an i-6 one? how do you tell the difference? i have 3 sets of mounts in the garage that were all v8 trucks and now there is all kinds of talk on here about shoving a v8 in the i-6 location on there mounts, i`m confused ??? thanks.

Set them into place. They will only fit in one position and all the holes line up.

The front three holes are V8 mounts. If they fit the rear three holes, they're I6 units.

There's a truck mag from about august , it has a pic of the differnt motor mounts for our trucks.. There's a total of 3 or 4 differnt types. I've seen V-8's mounted on I-6 mounts.. The V-8 mounts are a little smaller, If I can find the pic tomorrow, I'll try & send it to you. My truck had no mounts when I started, & I was very confused about what to look for till I saw them all side by side. There's I -6, V-8, and just for fun, Big Block.
