Looking for pics/schematic of brake pedal assy - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

If you've got any pics or exploded diagram (or even if you can describe the assembly) for the brake pedal, I'd appreciate it. I've got the steel pedal but nothing else in my hand... I know there are some plastic bushings, but what holds it in the bracket? Is there a pin that goes all the way through? Or??

Kenneth, I have a pedal assembly somewhere around my stash. It's a clutch set-up but should give you an idea. If someone doesn't beat me to it, I can put up some picks tomorrow evening & see if that helps you. Scot

There is a pin that goes all of the way through and the pin has a tab that has a hole in it for a bolt to hold it to the mounting bracket. A manual transmission brake pedal and the automatic brake pedal are the same, the clutch pedal is just mounted into the bracket on the same pin.
