Christmas Gift Brings Question?

Awoke Christmas morning and done the breakfast out of the way, open the gifts, etc. until wife says "Put your coat on, we're going to the garage" These kind of statements generally mean the Suburban she drives is making a funny noise or similar problem. Not ready for this on Christmas morning !

Out to the garage we go with me wondering what the problem is and when I open the door there sitting with a big red ribbon on it is a New 7 HP 60 gal Vertical Tank Air Compressor !! Guess my wife and the boys were getting tired of hearing me grumble about my ol' compressor being on it's last.

Now for the question?? Since I now have a nice compressor to feed air thru I am contemplating a Bead Blast Cabinet. (Does it ever end ? ) Anyone have an idea of a Good cabinet at a reasonable price vrs. quality to recommend? Would like it large enough to use on usual garage projects and have a top and side opening door. I use one from work on occasion during breaks and lunch but can't quite afford the same unit at home. The company I work for has a bigger budget than I do.

Would appreciate any feedback and recommendations. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

It just occured to me after I hit "submit" I should have posted this question on the "general discussion" section. Sorry, maybe Rod can move it to proper location. My bad.

You are probably ok in this section...as many discuss blast cab's here. Harbor Freight has a few nice ones that are not too pricey....or Northern Tool. Do a search at Google for blast cabinets and you'll find them. Bet there are some on Ebay too.

Build your own. You can get plans, kits or individual parts here. You can make it out of wood and line it some with some sheet metal. If you don't make it too big you can even use a shop vac for dust extraction.

You can delete this as the originator and post elsewhere.
There are many companies that sell cabinets and also replacement parts. I built mine and ordered the gloves and spray gun. All the other parts where made to my specs.
Have about $35.00 invested.
