Luggage Rack
Does anyone have a luggage rack on their Suburban? I'm looking for one that would have been installed or available at a dealership in the 60's or early 70's. Pics of any examples would be greatly appreciated, I need to know what to look for.
Bob

I have one but it's just leaning against a fench up at the shop.
![]() When I get it mounted (hopefully soon) I'll get some pics out for ya. If you want pics of just the "part" itself, let me know. |

"Fench" wasn't in my regular dictionary, but I found it in my slang dictionary.
Fench. n. 1. A French fence, usually known for failing to hold back intruders if not falling down on its own. 2. Of or relating to French fixed defenses. See the Maginot Line. ![]()

Fetch it from the fence.Reminds me of the story about my French friend Fletch forming a flech from a fence...

I'd go looking at old station wagons. Lots of them had luggage racks. You might find a nice one.
