Heater Fuse Bowing on 76 GMC K15

Ok my heater didnt work for the longest time. After some lloking around I found the plug blower motor resistor unplugged and also the fan switch unplugged. I plugged em in and Voila it works. After I cycle the switch a few times the 10amp fuse blows. I replace fuse and it works for a while.

Anyone have any ideas. I wanted to pick up the resistor and switch locally but noone carries it.

Any suggestions would be great.
