wtd: tri 5(Car) disc brake conversion info
I am looking to convert my 55 Chevy (shoebox) from drums up front to disc. I know there is a way to do it with Monte, or Chevelle hardware but have been unsuccessful in my search for the info and parts list this evening on the internet. Anyone on this board have any ideas. This is the only place I get good info on my truck, there doesn't seem to be any quality message boards for the older chevy cars. I hope you guys don't mind me posting this here.

CPP makes a disc brake conversion kit that bolts up. And then you just use 70-77 camaro rotors and calipers. Comes with bearings, seals, bearing adaptors.
