I think 67ChevyRedneck summed it up. I see trucks around here that are "original" but require a good bit of work. The owner assumes that since it is "original" its going to bring a much higher price and that people will overlook the obvious problems. Uneducated owners often look at ebay or other sometimes inflated sources for estimates of what a truck will bring. Unfortunatly, for the rest of us, some people will pay those prices....

OMG the oil filler tube is the wrong color and that tie wrap holding the spark plug wires to the brake line is not original either!

$500 tops!

J/K - I'd love to see this truck in person to really check it out. If it was a similarly equipped Long Fleet I'd say $3000-$4000. Add another $1000 for it being a short wide.

The thing is,I don`t see alot of money in this truck as it sits. The money is yet to be spent. It`s a nice driver, but $7500?Way off.Restore it?Bodywork,trim,paint...Why should this guy make all the money when the one that invests in a restoration will never get close to what he has spent. No A/C,a couple options,a nice survivor, not worth that much. Not knockin`the truck, maybe the seller.I always say,"too bad I didn`t find it before he did".
