I guess maybe it's a "Young, Old" opinion.... I looked at it and think it's pretty damned nice.... It has the Billett dash panels everyone seems to like, A Non cut radio opening, Tilt wheel that almost everyone here goes crazy over,Nice Bucket seats,it has the aftermarket A-piller tweeter holders, ass kickin door handles, and a few more other things too numerous to mention..

I wonder if they were to give Copperhead away, How many of the board members would have their name in for the Drawing??? I sure as he!! would have mine in the Hat....

My mom always told me, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!" My mom is a smart lady. I see cars and trucks at shows all of the time that I personally think are ugly as all get out! But when the owner smiles and stands tall and proud, I say, "That's a great looking car/truck/bike/whatever." How much trouble does it take to be nice. I don't see who any truck could devalue others.

I guess the neat thing about this truck is that it shows what we can do if we have enough money and time. The only thing that isn't reproduced in METAL is the cab, and (I believe) the 67-68 grille stamping. The cabs (I learned) are also available in fiberglass.

As for my earlier post about the origin of the console, I merely said it looked like it could be a 69 up console that was modified. I don't know that, for sure. It could be entirely hand made. Big whoop, here. As for what we build, buy or want, we all have our opinions....which we are entitled to. I, for one, do not personally diss anyones' stuff on this website. I may not like it, or I may like it a lot...but I'm not gonna tell you that I think anyones' work is a pile of crap. That is soooo wrong.

But, the opening segment explained what they were going to do, as it was stated on here, already. We are lucky to be able to find parts for these trucks. Mustang folks also have the ability to rebuild their cars, if they have a shell. T's, A's, 32's, 33-34's can all be built from scratch. One of these days, we may also. But, right now we just need money to buy what we need to replace what the rust ate up. Think about them poor folks that have Dodge's of the same vintage. Ford owners also are not so fortunate. Internationals??? You'd better know somebody that has a wrecking yard and a soft heart, if you wanna restore/rod one of them cornbinders!!

My favorite thing about Copperhead is the stance. JMHO though. I wish I could find some 17's that weren't solid chrome.

i personally love the exterior, the color/rims/tires etc. the motor/trans is pretty much my dream setup, the interior is probably my least fav part of the truck but hell if someone said here take this truck its yours id be so happy with it and im sure the things i wasnt too fond of would grow on me. when i was back in highschool i bought a lowered reg cab shortbox s10 of a friend of my parents, the old guy was a retired mechanic, he had rebuilt the 4 banger, lowered it 3/4, and painted it this color called twilight gold. at first i wanted to paint the truck SO bad but after a while it began to grow on me to the point that i really liked it, in direct sunlight it was almost white and when it wasnt in the sunlight it looked gold...i thought it was different then all the other s10s around and everyone seemed to like it

wow was that ever off topic

someone is stamping the 67-68 grille, i found the link on here once, i don't remeber where to tell you to find it though.

that statement about internationals really hit home, it took me 12 yrs to come up with enough good body panels to make one truck. now i'm just looking for a s-10 chassis, time and $$$ to put it together.

I think its cool what they did with this project and i like the fact that only the original cab and frame were used. I think its a testimate to the quality of the after market parts makers and it illustrates that you can bring one of these trucks back from the dead in any condition so long as you have those two things.

There are always two frames of mind when building one of these trucks. Those who would like every piece to be original like it was when it rolled out of the factory and those who want to change every piece that is outdated and has been improved upon.

I dont personally care for some of the styleing choices made on this particular project but i do marval at the engineering that has gone into it and if money was not an issue ...... i would prefer to build a truck this way than any other.

Beautiful truck, I love the color.

Nice interior....for a show truck, but I can't see that interior in a daily driver. Can you imagine a nice bright sun hitting all that chrome/polished aluminum? I'd be blind from the reflection the first day!

I like Lost Wages interior, cooperheads inside is bad either....I dont think I would have done the polished glove box cover or the instrument cluster....just because I would always see finger prints on it.
