To anyone who has this steering wheel......
What do you really think of this wheel. I had my other wheel off to check my horn and thought it would be a good time to try my new wheel. I love the look and feel of this wheel, but.... It seems to rub the coulum and make a little noise while it's doing it, and... I don't like the way it blocks the lower guages.
 I'm gonna keep it on until I get the part for my horn, and I guess I will decide If I'm gonna keep it or not. What do you think?

I have that wheel and have not had any of the rubbing problems that you are talking about. I find it a lot more comfortable than the original wheel that cam in my burb.

Well, this wheel, is a little bigger than the one I had. Plus the one I had I could see the bottom guages.....

I have one of the 4 spoke in the first pic...in the old lady's blazer. I do like it, and I like it alot better than your older s-10 wheel in the 2nd pic. However, i do know what your saying about blocking the guages....VERY annoying.

4 spoke wheel
I bought one of those 4 spoke wheels on Ebay and it won't work on the 72. On the back of the wheel it says "Van only" . It sticks up too far and I can't get the bolt on it. Also it takes a different oblong lik horn ring thing ( to attach to make the horn work).
It's a nice wheel though. pat

Basically any GM with standard spline steering wheels will fit any GM column.on the ones that rub,you can move your column shaft up a hair from under the hood.also some wheels like the 3 spokes i have have a heavy spring behind them,you push down on the wheel,and tighten the nut,and then they dont rub,but if you just stuck it on they would.Ive had Monza Wheels,Corvette,Buick,Olds,Van,truck,Impala they all have fit each other.sometimes you just need additional pieces to make it function properly.

IMHO
i like the first wheel, besides who cares if you cant see those gauges, let the look and feel guide your decsion, not the idiot gauges.

As soon as I get my arse of this computer this morning, I'm heading to the bone yard, to get me some working material.
 And the guages are important in a truck that has major oil pressure problems..........

I had one like the first it wouldn't fit ,mine is off a 78-80 looks ok but I want one newer,a Z-24 looks great or a wood trim is sharp.
