good eye 68, that is a 1970 cab it was the best example i had on the comp lol

is the black line i put an arrow at in this pic the one your talking about? i used steel wool to take that band off my 71 grill... i didnt know if they had the black in 72 or not

1971 Chevy Grille

Here is a picture of my truck on the day that I bought it and another one of how it looks now. If you notice in the first pic, there is a painted black band on the outer edge of the grille on the "front" side of the grille but not on the side/edge that touches the hood and fenders. In the second pic, it is an aftermarket grille that is truly for a 1972 since it does not have the black band. But trust me, I am okay with that. I like that look better!!
