carb swap

Hey guys, i'm new on this site so i'll trie and see if this works. I'm driving an 82 elky with an 267s/b and an rochester 2bbl carb(computer controled). I want some more power so i want to swap the poor 2bbl (e2me)for an 4bbl(e4me). Is this possible, using the same computer?
