N.O.S. Quadrajet

Got this from one of my dad's customer's hours before starting to rebuild mine. Best part was I got it real cheap. I can't wait to get it installed.

Little to no progress lately, but I have been informed that in 5 months today the truck along with my wife and I are leaving for an east coast tour also known as a honeymoon.

You may make it work, but those numbers don't correlate to our trucks. Also, it appears the fuel inlet is wrong-Pontiac, Olds?? Believe all Quads for our trucks start with the number "7"

The original carb numbers for my truck were 7040208 but the carb was long gone when I got the truck. Now I have a Qjet from a '76 2wd Blazer with the auto choke and it rocks, no more having to pull a choke cable or keep it revved up when it's cold. Either way that's a good score.

I am not too concerned about originality as you might be able to tell from my signature. I am confident that I can adapt my intake to work or find an intake that will work. Also I am still toying with the idea of keeping the TBI setup. So many decisions, so little time.
