I need a good pair of big block stands for 68-71. Will purchase or trade for ???

Don't quote me but I think the small block stands are the same as a big block. I know for a fact on chevelles they are because I swapped a small block in favor of a big block in my 68 and did not have to change stands. Also be careful when buying headers because on some trucks probably including the 67-72 models you are better off running car headers (chevelle/camaro/nova) due to minimal ground clearance with the truck headers.

Same with the chevelles (atleast I know for 66 and 67). big and small block are not the same mounts, but will probably work. The big block mounts are shorter than the small block mounts.

I've built a couple of big block trucks and that's a good deal in my opinion.

I thought it sounded pretty good, but I wasn't sure since I have never bought any before. Also, they are chromed and I would prefer to have black. But as the seller said, they could be blasted and repainted, I think.

When I did my big block swap I tried to use a set of full length chevelle headers and they wouldn't work. They hit the motor stands and the lower control arms. I wound up using Headman headers and they fit great...

Got any performance parts for a BB, or SB. I'd trade for nice intake for either, or carb, roller rockers, valve covers that kind of stuff. Chuck

I've got a big cam with solid lifters for a BBC. They are used but in great shape. The guy who built the motor I got them out of said that they didn't have any miles on them, just in and out of the garage. It was too big for my taste. I'll get the numbers off the card and send them to you if you are interested.
