Saw a late model chevy swb extended cab painted flat black on the interstate today, it had an after market front end that made it look like a 49- 53 anybody know anything about these?

i saw a kit at Carlisle last year that you put on an s-10. It ended up looking like a modified advanced design series truck. Cant remember the company though.

They make a kit for fullsize trucks too that are suppost to resemble the 47-53. Cant remember the company...but they showed it on an episode of Trucks! before.

Yeah ,this was definitely a full size normal extended cab and sportside bed , it had single round headlights and a old style grille the hood and fenders had to come in the kit as well. The hood appeared to open conventionally....it wasn't something some one made like a tilt or anything like that.

Yeah I saw an ad for the front end in the back of the last Tuckin' magazine I bought. Its for the 88-98 fullsize chevys, and it looks ugly in the pic. Maybe it looked different in real life I've never seen one. If I find the ad I'll post it.
