Will the defroster vents interchange?

The reason I ask is the right vent defrosts the glass about the the middle in front of the passenger, and the left one defrosts the bottom of windshield, and towards the middle of the glass, over the speaker, and the area in front of me is the last to clear.

Is it possible that it has 2 right hand vents?WIll they both fit in either place? It seems it would be blowing the right place if I turn it around, but the direction the hose fits on the bottom is angled the right direction.

The left and right vents are different. One has a round hose fitting and the other is an oval.

It's been awhile since I put any in, but there is a notch that needs to line up with the dash if I remember correctly. You'd have to remove the notch.

defroster vents

If you put the passenger side on the driver side, you can't hook up the hose. It gets into the instrument panel. Already tried it. Mine work about the same as you're describing. Frank
