we are doing a color change on the interior. The whole interior will be gray by the end of the weekend.

Not sure, I didnt want to take it off and not be able to put it back on. It's large so lets just call shipping $10

do all consoles have that big armrest on it? Could the console be painted, and could that armrest be removed?

No they dont have the pad normally, the PO of my K5 did this. Sure the console could be painted. The material is just stapled from the underside of the lid so I am pretty sure it could be removed and you would never know the pad was on there, other than the holes from staples which you can see when it's closed
