shoulder belts/ 3 point belts

Hi Guys,

Am looking at fitting 3 point shoulder/lap belts to my 72 step with bench seat.

Currently have lap belts but have found out these are illegal in the UK for post 67 vehicles and quite frankly would prefer in the event of any accident to have my upper body restrained.

Can anyone suggest vendors for these belts for trucks? I see them in bothers etc but they seem to be kind of pricey

I plan to fit in the long term a late 90's to 2K's burb/Tahoe seat with the integral belts but is kinda hard in the UK to find these in the breakers yards yet.

Cheers
Lee

Lee,
I used this settup from Juianos.

http://www.julianos.com/how2_67chevy_truck.html

All the hardware is included and it all Bolted right on. Had to drill new hole on the drivers' side floor because of the gas tank (see the instructions). They arn't cheap.....but as far as I'm concerned it's worth it from a safety standpoint

If you use a seat out of a 99? to new chevy truck, if you can find one, they have a 3 point harness integrated into the seat. They also appear on E-bay every now and then. The seats are also super comfy! I personally used a 3 point set up out of a 73-87 truck. It was almost a direct bolt in except where the 3 point bolts to the floor. I drilled a hole for the bolt and put a small 1/4" steel plate under the floor for strength. Again, you may have trouble finding one....

Thanks Guys,
Julianos looks like the way to go.... very comprehensive and reasonably priced...
until I can get my hands on a late model setup.. they are becoming more common over here, but havent found one yet in any of the wrecking yards but give it time I'm sure I'll be able to source one...
