Genuine Chevrolet

My great grandfather was a GM mechanic for years. After cleaning out my grandmothers house before demolition, I found this hatpin in a small box. It says "Genuine Chevrolet Mechanic" on it. It is also in it's original box and looks like it has never been taken out. Is there any collectors out there who know anything about this? Sorry, no pictures because I haven't jumped into the digital age with a new camera yet.
Thanks

I agree with Randy, don't ever get rid of it.It was prolly a gift from GM to your grandfather on an anniversary,or retirement or whatever.

Do you know anyone with a camera,I'd like to see it also.A scanner would work too

I agree with what the others have said.
1.Go digital asap,it's the only way to go
2.I'd really like to see a pic of the pin.
3.DONOT let it go for anything.I'd bet you'd regret it later

Whether it's worth $.40 or $4.0m, no amount of money can replace the value it could have to you or your kids in a few years, plus the cool factor of it all.

Digital cameras.... I bought mine for about $500 five years ago. Take off one zero and you have the price you could get that same quality camera for today. You have no excuse.

Yeah, what they said.I was going to add something about the sentimental value and how unreplaceable value it has.Keep it.You`re probably just curious. With things like that it`s whatever someone will pay.I passed on a Gypsy Tour/1936 belt buckle(Harley thing) for $375.I wanted it bad.Went back for it,sold.
