Question Ididit Column

Just curious what the overall length of our steering columns is. I see Ididit and Flaming River have different sizes (i.e. 32", 34", etc) and am not sure what the right one would be. Please help!!

I keep Flaming River columns "in stock". I have them made to fit our trucks. They are different than their standard generic columns. Anyone needing more info can email me.

Frank...I just got a quote on a new chrome Ididit column (floor shift) with turn signal, tilt, and flasher knob included. Price shipped to my door is $378. I know I have seen prices for your columns, but don't remember if they are in the same ballpark on price or not. If you can get me close to that price, I will get with you and grab one. Lemme know! Tim

Tim,
What is the shape/type of shaft on the bottom of that column?

splined...and round. I am trying to find out if the intermediate shaft I have now will match up...if not, I will have to get the shaft as well.

Round & splined sounds good, if you don't have to buy an extra $200 intermediate shaft. Many of the cheap model columns come with the "Double D" shaft that won't work.
My Flaming River columns are stainless and do come with the correct splined shaft, so you can use your stock intermediate shaft. Of course I think the tilt head assembly is much better built on the FR than the Ididit, FR looks more like our original columns and have nicer arms...but, I sell them, so that explains it too.
Here is an actual pic of the floor shift model. It is unpolished, but I get good results polishing on bench grinder and save $$$.
