Should I Let My Wife Have It!
My wife is looking out the window every day and said I like that GMC I think it should be mine.
I still have some work to do on it if it ever dries up around here. I think I got the wiring done lots of splices and fusible links bad. Now just have to do the front brake lines. Should I move it out of sight so she won't see it every day? OR let HER HAVE IT and get a new 1

I really think I should move it. You know how addictions can be. Some people just can't control themselves.

Thereis a nice 71 GMC in colorado but it would be about $1300 in gas to pick it up. Although I could sell the utility bed and recoop some of the gas cost.

give it to her and build a new one. a wife that is interested in the same thing you are is a great thing. my wife said she wants me to build her a 678 ext cab so guess what, she gets one. hers will be later though, I dont have enough shop space to have two cabs cut apart right now.

Be happy she ain't drooling over the Longhorn.
I have to agree with some of the comments, your wife seems liek a wonderfull suportive woman...give her the truck and you can look for a big block replacement. Best of both worlds. |

Let her have it.It'll have a good home, and you'll never get to drive it,or be able to say it's yours. But on the bright side you'll still get to work on it:p j/k
If you can find one you like better, and in better shape.I'd give it to her.

I'd be thrilled if my wife would take an interest in one. I'll be looking for a 4x4 soon. Maybe by then.

Let her take the truck on a 800 mile round trip and she will really BOND to the truck and it will be hers forever. Then just buy another one since they made over 3 million of these wonderful American icons. Just maybe you will buy a couple more since they are extremely addictive.

Be glad she wants that one!
My wife spotted a 59 Stepside the other day ("It's so cute! It's got potential!...I want it!")...... So I pull over to check it out....and it's rusted so bad that if you try to open the doors all the way.....the hinges will pull right out of the jambs... So go ahead and give your wife that one.....before she finds another 'nice' one like my wife did. LOL! |

Sounds to me like you have the perfect excuse to go out and buy another truck. What are you waiting for?
