new tach dash question
i searched the old tach threads and read crossys write up but this isn't covered.
i'm pretty sure the answer is no, but i was wondering if the gage cluster housings between a tach dash and non tach dash are interchangable. on the tach dash i just got a couple of the mounting points that mount the cluster housing into the dash are broke off so i'd like the swap the tach and guages to a different housing if it would work? if not i can make the one i have work but it would be nicer to swap them

there is a cutout in the carrier where the tach goes. If you are able to get that cut out, it may work.

I did the swap. The biggest issue was the small fuel gauge in the bottom left, I wound up running wires from the gauge's poles to the metal on the circuit board. My tach bezel was all beat up and ugly, half of the mounting holes were broken etc
I used a dremel with a cutting disk on it to cut out the holes I needed for my tach, and a drill to make the holes needed for the fuel gauge wires
