Newby looking for Cab (KY)

Hey, I am new to this site but just picked up a 72 SWB Chevy Truck. Its in ruff shape but the frame is solid and it runs.(paid a $100 for it) In the next few weeks I will probably bug you all to death with questions. As of right now my top priority is to find a good cab, my current one is full of cancer. I am located in Nicholasville, KY 40356 but am willing to travel a few hours or pay shipping for a good solid cab. Doesnt matter much to me if its AC or non AC, not looking for a cab with running lights on the top. If it needs a little work its fine too, such as new rockers, cab corner etc.

i have a fixable cab, but i dont know how interested youd be in it... it does need some work, like both front floor pans, rockers, and floor supports... it may need cab corners but im not sure. do you want me to get some pics for you?

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Blue 71 if its not too much trouble could you get me some pics. Where are you located in reference to Lexington, ky? The cab on my truck is completely shot so anything would be a better starting point. What are you looking to get for it?

with the shape its in, i'll let it go for $100 obo.... i dont have the title to it, but im going to cut out around the vin section so you can cut out around yours and weld it in. i'll deliver it for $40 load up fee (because i'd have to borrow my neighbors tractor) and 50 cents a mile.... if you DO want to come get it though, i'd borrow it and load it for no extra since you would be making the trip. im around a hour from lexington (100 miles south of louisville on I-65) it does need alot of work, but it is defintly fixable if you know how to weld. i'll go get some pics of it in a few minutes

Thanks for the pics Blue 71, i think its alittle rougher than what I want to start with though. Hope I didnt cost you to much time, or frostbite in the cold.

Gutterman01, I would appreciate some pics if you have the time. I dont want to put anyone out or feel like I'm waisting your time. I have cash for the right cab and have access to a friends truck and trailer.
